April 5, Lake Worth (West Palm Beach)

We left the marina at 6:45 just as the skies were beginning to lighten.  We went through 21 bridges, all of which we had to contact via VHF radio to request an opening on their schedules ( hour/ half hour for some; quarter of/ quarter after for others)!  So it was rush, rush to make the next bridge opening; sometimes wait for a few minutes.  And did I say that the wind was blowing hard in our faces and it was pretty chilly all morning.  At 2:45 we found this anchorage in Lake Worth just off the ICW and dropped a hook.  I also think we saw the back side of Mar-a-Lago.  Can we come for dinner, Donald?
