Nov. 6- Isle of Palms, SC
What a yucky day! It has been blowing hard and raining on and off all day. Flooding is worse today than yesterday. We can’t even walk out of the marina parking lot- and the worse is yet to come! Apparently this is a problem up and down the coast. We are hearing that boats are pulling anchor and crashing into the bridge in St. Augustine, FL. We are worried about when we can leave here, since we must go under a 65’ fixed bridge on the ICW about 2 miles away (our mast is 63’). A fellow boater told us he couldn't pass under because the high tide allowed only a 60' clearance. We are going to try to leave very, very early Monday morning at the bottom of low tide- fingers crossed! In the meantime we are taking lots of naps (see photo of Suzy)!
