April 10, Vero Beach

Yes, we are still here in Vero!  Although it is a beautiful day with blue skies, the wind is blowing 24 mph, which is not much fun on the water.  A boat needs to be under control in these confined waters with lots of bridges to navigate and that much wind is not helpful. So we decided to be cautious and wait for a more favorable weather window.  Instead we got up early and walked the four blocks to the beach to have breakfast at Cravings.  They have a very nice bakery and lots of pastries that are way naughty and delicious.  We came back to the boat and slept the next hour.  The rest of the day we loafed, read, watched Netflix, and I did a last load of laundry.
