April 7, Vero Beach
We pulled up our anchor at 7:15 and left under sunny skies with a very cool breeze (62 degrees). It was pretty much ho-hum through the waterway; the Indian River is wide and we did not see anything spectacular. At least we had only one bridge that had to open for us; the other five were high rise. Lots of small boats zooming around with families and guys going fishing; and therefore lots of wakes. We arrived at the Vero Beach City Marina at 1:00, picked up 65 gallons of diesel, and then tied up to a dock. Now for some r&r as today is Bryce’s birthday! Happy Birthday, my captain! May you have many, many more!
